Emily Universe was created on May 19, 2010 by me (Alex). I'd already made fansites for people like Justin Bieber, Cody Simpson, Jordan Jansen, etc and I thought, "I should make one for Emily!" That's when this site was created :) It was first named Emily Harder Daily, but I later decided that Emily Universe sounded much more original! :)

Emily is a 16 year old singer/songwriter/guitarist from Canada. Her favorite thing to do is sing and write songs and she love all styles of music! She taught myself how to play guitar - but now she's taking guitar lessons and voice lessons. Her guitar is like a good friend to her. Life inspires her - hurts, dreams, relationships. She likes to write songs about the things that inspire her and if she could perform every day she would! She easily become obsessed with new songs and has been known to say, "I love this song" to every song she hears on the radio.

The awesome comments that people leave on her videos and channel mean a lot to her! It always makes me smile to think that she encouraged or inspired someone with her music - or that you like her voice and songs. She'd love to meet Taylor Swift, Kelly Clarkson, Hayley Williams and Stephanie Meyers some day. She thinks Twitter is the best! She also said that she tends to be very clumsy and if she earned a dollar for every time she tripped over nothing or ran into a wall, she'd be a millionaire.

She thinks the stars are beautiful and loves the rain. September is the best month of the year for her. She wears a lot bracelets and her socks rarely match. She loves deep and hurts deep. Her friends and family are important to her and she's attracted to funny, positive people and stays away from insincere or negative people. Her favorite foods are oreo cookies, vietnamese food and diet coke.
